Children’s chances are forgotten in Jackson

Few 18-year-olds who’ve just graduated high school realize it, but their chances for success were not a priority for most of Mississippi’s highest elected officials.

Across these children’s 18 years, our officials turned their backs on them and our state’s economic future by refusing to tackle the most basic issue: Adequately funding our K-12 schools.
